Important Legal Notice
This platform is NOT available in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Odisha, Telangana, Nagaland, and Sikkim. Only users 18 years and older are permitted. This is a skill-based, 100% free-to-play platform with no real money involved.
Zero Tolerance for Cheating: Kaveramma operates on principles of fairness, integrity, and skill-based competition. We employ sophisticated detection systems to identify cheating, collusion, and unfair practices. Violations result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban with no exceptions.
This Fair Play Policy ("Policy") is established by Kaveramma, operated by KAVERAMMA COFFEE CURING WORKS PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN: U10792KA2024PTC186508), to ensure that all users compete on a level playing field based on skill, knowledge, and strategic thinking—not through cheating, manipulation, or unfair advantages.
The integrity of fantasy sports depends on fair competition. When users engage in prohibited activities, they undermine the experience for everyone, devalue legitimate achievements, and violate the trust that makes competitive gaming meaningful.
Our Fair Play Commitments
- Equal Opportunity: All users have equal access to information, features, and opportunities to succeed
- Skill-Based Competition: Success is determined by cricket knowledge, strategic decisions, and analytical skills—not luck, manipulation, or cheating
- Transparent Rules: All rules, scoring systems, and policies are clearly documented and publicly available
- Consistent Enforcement: Rules are applied uniformly to all users without favoritism or discrimination
- Active Monitoring: We continuously monitor for suspicious activity and investigate potential violations
- Swift Action: Violations are addressed promptly with appropriate consequences
- Appeals Process: Users have the right to appeal decisions through a fair and transparent process
Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to all users of the Kaveramma platform, including:
- Registered users with active accounts
- Suspended or terminated users (for ongoing investigations)
- Any individual who interacts with the Platform in any capacity
This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Fair Play Policy. Violations may result in consequences as described in Section 6.
The following activities are strictly prohibited and constitute violations of this Fair Play Policy. This list is comprehensive but not exhaustive—any activity that undermines fair competition or violates the spirit of fair play is prohibited.
2.1 Multiple Accounts and Identity Violations
STRICTLY PROHIBITED
- Creating Multiple Accounts: Registering more than one account for yourself using different email addresses, names, or personal information
- Account Sharing: Allowing another person to use your account or using another person's account
- Account Trading/Selling: Transferring, selling, gifting, or renting your account to another individual
- False Identity: Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent personal information during registration or at any time
- Impersonation: Pretending to be another user, Platform staff, or any other individual or entity
Why This Matters: Multiple accounts allow users to gain unfair advantages, manipulate leaderboards, test different strategies without risk, and undermine the integrity of competition. Each person is permitted exactly ONE account.
2.2 Cheating and Unfair Advantages
STRICTLY PROHIBITED
- Using Insider Information: Exploiting non-public information about team lineups, player injuries, pitch conditions, or match details obtained through unauthorized sources
- Automated Tools/Bots: Using scripts, bots, automated tools, or any software to create teams, enter contests, or interact with the Platform
- Exploiting Bugs: Deliberately exploiting software bugs, glitches, vulnerabilities, or errors to gain unfair advantages
- Data Scraping: Using automated tools to extract cricket data, user information, or Platform content
- Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Platform
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access restricted areas, other users' accounts, or backend systems
Why This Matters: Fair competition requires that all users have equal access to information and rely on their own skill and judgment. Cheating destroys the competitive balance and devalues legitimate achievements.
2.3 Collusion and Coordination
STRICTLY PROHIBITED
- Team Coordination: Coordinating with other users to create complementary teams designed to maximize collective rankings rather than individual performance
- Information Sharing Rings: Forming groups to share insider information, leaked lineups, or non-public data
- Strategic Collusion: Agreeing with other users to select certain players, avoid certain players, or manipulate contest outcomes
- Syndicate Operations: Operating as part of an organized group that pools resources, shares accounts, or coordinates strategies
Why This Matters: Fantasy sports is an individual competition based on personal skill and judgment. Collusion creates unfair advantages for coordinated groups over individual players.
2.4 Team Copying and Plagiarism
PROHIBITED (with exceptions for common strategies)
- Direct Team Copying: Copying another user's exact team composition without independent analysis
- Systematic Replication: Consistently replicating teams from external sources (YouTube, social media, expert predictions) without adding your own analysis
- Paid Team Services: Purchasing team recommendations or "guaranteed winning teams" from third parties
Important Clarification: It's natural for skilled players to select similar players based on form, conditions, and logic. Having some overlap with other teams is expected and acceptable. What's prohibited is deliberately copying entire teams without independent thought or analysis.
2.5 Manipulation and Abuse
STRICTLY PROHIBITED
- Leaderboard Manipulation: Attempting to manipulate leaderboard rankings through any means other than legitimate gameplay
- System Abuse: Abusing Platform features, bugs, or design flaws for personal gain
- Spam and Disruption: Sending spam, creating excessive accounts, or disrupting Platform operations
- False Reporting: Making false or malicious reports against other users
2.6 Harassment and Misconduct
STRICTLY PROHIBITED
- Harassment: Harassing, threatening, bullying, or intimidating other users
- Hate Speech: Using offensive, discriminatory, or hateful language based on race, religion, gender, nationality, or any other characteristic
- Abusive Behavior: Engaging in any form of abusive, toxic, or unsportsmanlike conduct
2.7 Legal and Regulatory Violations
STRICTLY PROHIBITED
- Age Fraud: Providing false date of birth to circumvent the 18+ age requirement
- Location Fraud: Providing false state information or using VPNs/proxies to circumvent geographic restrictions
- Illegal Activities: Using the Platform for any illegal purpose or to facilitate illegal activities
We employ sophisticated automated systems and manual review processes to detect violations of this Fair Play Policy. While we don't disclose all our detection methods (to prevent circumvention), we provide transparency about the general approaches we use.
3.1 Automated Detection Systems
- Multiple Account Detection: Algorithms analyze email patterns, IP addresses, device fingerprints, behavioral patterns, and registration data to identify users operating multiple accounts
- Collusion Detection: Statistical analysis identifies unusual patterns of team similarity, coordinated player selections, and synchronized behavior across multiple accounts
- Bot Detection: Systems monitor for automated behavior patterns, impossible action speeds, and non-human interaction patterns
- Anomaly Detection: Machine learning models flag unusual patterns in team creation, contest participation, and user behavior
- IP and Device Tracking: Monitoring of IP addresses, device IDs, and browser fingerprints to identify account sharing and multiple account creation
3.2 Manual Review and Investigation
- User Reports: Investigation of violations reported by other users through our reporting system
- Leaderboard Audits: Regular manual review of top-ranked users to verify legitimacy
- Pattern Analysis: Human analysts review flagged accounts to confirm automated detections
- Behavioral Review: Examination of suspicious patterns that may not trigger automated systems
3.3 Data Sources
Our detection systems analyze multiple data sources:
- Account registration information (email, name, date of birth, state)
- Login patterns (times, frequency, session duration)
- IP addresses and geographic location data
- Device information (browser, operating system, device ID)
- Team creation patterns (timing, player selections, budget allocation)
- Contest participation history
- User interactions and navigation patterns
- Communication and reporting data
3.4 Continuous Improvement
We continuously enhance our detection capabilities by:
- Updating algorithms based on new cheating techniques
- Incorporating machine learning to identify emerging patterns
- Analyzing historical violation data to improve accuracy
- Collaborating with the fantasy sports industry on best practices
3.5 Privacy and Data Protection
All monitoring and detection activities are conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We collect and analyze only the data necessary for fair play enforcement and comply with all applicable data protection laws.
When a potential violation is detected or reported, we follow a structured investigation process to ensure fair and accurate enforcement.
4.1 Initial Detection
Investigations are triggered by:
- Automated system alerts flagging suspicious activity
- User reports submitted through our reporting mechanism
- Manual review during routine leaderboard audits
- Patterns identified during security monitoring
4.2 Evidence Collection
Our investigation team collects and analyzes:
- Account activity logs and timestamps
- IP address history and device information
- Team creation patterns and player selection data
- Communication records (if relevant to the violation)
- Comparison with other accounts showing similar patterns
- Historical behavior and previous warnings
4.3 Analysis and Determination
Trained investigators review the evidence to determine:
- Whether a violation occurred
- The severity and nature of the violation
- Whether the violation was intentional or accidental
- The user's history and prior violations
- The appropriate consequence (see Section 6)
4.4 Temporary Suspension During Investigation
For serious violations or when immediate action is necessary to protect Platform integrity, we may:
- Temporarily suspend the account during investigation (typically 7-14 days)
- Remove the user from active leaderboards
- Prevent participation in new contests
Temporary suspension does not constitute a finding of guilt and will be lifted if the investigation clears the user.
4.5 Decision and Notification
Upon completing the investigation, we will:
- Make a final determination regarding the violation
- Determine the appropriate consequence
- Send an email notification to the user's registered email address within 48 hours
- Provide a summary of the violation, evidence, and consequence
- Explain the appeals process (see Section 7)
4.6 Investigation Timeline
- Simple Cases: 3-5 business days (e.g., clear multiple account violations)
- Complex Cases: 7-14 business days (e.g., collusion investigations requiring analysis of multiple accounts)
- Exceptional Cases: Up to 30 days (e.g., sophisticated cheating schemes requiring extensive analysis)
4.7 Confidentiality
All investigations are conducted confidentially. We do not publicly disclose:
- The identity of users under investigation
- Specific detection methods or evidence
- Details of ongoing investigations
However, we may publish aggregated statistics about violations and enforcement actions to promote transparency.
Fair play is a shared responsibility. All users are expected to contribute to a fair, respectful, and competitive environment.
5.1 Your Obligations
- Play Fair: Compete based on your own skill, knowledge, and judgment
- Follow the Rules: Comply with this Fair Play Policy, Terms of Service, and all Platform policies
- Maintain One Account: Create and use only one account per person
- Protect Your Account: Keep your login credentials secure and never share your account
- Be Honest: Provide accurate information and never misrepresent your identity, age, or location
- Respect Others: Treat other users with respect, courtesy, and sportsmanship
- Report Violations: Report suspected violations to help maintain Platform integrity
- Accept Outcomes: Accept contest results gracefully, whether you win or lose
5.2 Sportsmanship and Conduct
We expect all users to demonstrate good sportsmanship:
- Congratulate winners and learn from top performers
- Provide constructive feedback and help new users learn
- Engage in respectful discussions about strategy and cricket
- Avoid gloating, taunting, or putting down other users
- Accept that fantasy sports involves unpredictability and that even the best teams can underperform
5.3 Reporting Violations
If you suspect another user is violating this Fair Play Policy, please report it:
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Fair Play Violation Report"
- Provide the suspected user's name or account details
- Describe the suspected violation with as much detail as possible
- Include any evidence or screenshots (if available)
All reports are taken seriously and investigated promptly. Reporter identity is kept confidential. False or malicious reports are themselves a violation and may result in consequences.
5.4 What to Avoid
- Don't look for loopholes or ways to "game the system"
- Don't share your account credentials with friends or family
- Don't create multiple accounts "just to try different strategies"
- Don't copy teams from social media or YouTube without independent analysis
- Don't coordinate with other users to manipulate rankings
- Don't exploit bugs or errors—report them instead
Violations of this Fair Play Policy result in consequences proportionate to the severity, frequency, and impact of the violation. Our enforcement approach balances fairness with the need to maintain Platform integrity.
6.1 Penalty Framework
We apply a tiered penalty system based on violation severity:
Level 1: Minor Violations (First-Time, Unintentional)
Examples: Accidental account sharing, minor rule misunderstanding
Consequence: Written warning via email with explanation of the violation and requirement to cease the behavior
Impact: No account suspension; warning remains on record
Level 2: Moderate Violations
Examples: Repeated minor violations after warning, systematic team copying, exploiting minor bugs
Consequence: Temporary account suspension (7-30 days) + removal from leaderboards + loss of points earned during violation period
Impact: Cannot access account during suspension; rankings reset
Level 3: Serious Violations
Examples: Creating multiple accounts, account sharing, collusion, using automated tools
Consequence: Permanent account termination (ban) + removal from all leaderboards + forfeiture of all points and rankings
Impact: Immediate and permanent loss of access; cannot create new accounts
Level 4: Severe Violations
Examples: Organized cheating rings, hacking attempts, fraud, harassment, illegal activities
Consequence: Permanent ban + legal action + reporting to law enforcement (if applicable)
Impact: Permanent ban from Platform + potential legal consequences
6.2 Specific Consequences by Violation Type
Multiple Accounts: Permanent ban of all associated accounts (no exceptions)
Account Sharing: 30-day suspension (first offense) or permanent ban (repeat offense)
Collusion: Permanent ban of all involved accounts
Using Bots/Automation: Immediate permanent ban
Exploiting Bugs: 7-30 day suspension (if reported) or permanent ban (if exploited without reporting)
Team Copying: Warning (first offense), 7-day suspension (repeat offense)
Age/Location Fraud: Immediate permanent ban + potential legal action
Harassment: 7-30 day suspension (first offense) or permanent ban (severe or repeat offense)
6.3 Additional Consequences
In addition to account suspension or termination, violations may result in:
- Leaderboard Removal: Removal from all leaderboards and rankings
- Points Forfeiture: Loss of all points earned during the violation period or entire account history
- Contest Disqualification: Disqualification from active contests
- IP/Device Ban: Blocking of IP addresses or devices to prevent re-registration
- Public Disclosure: In severe cases, we may publicly disclose that enforcement action was taken (without identifying specific users) to deter others
6.4 Factors Considered in Determining Penalties
- Severity: How serious was the violation?
- Intent: Was it deliberate or accidental?
- Frequency: Is this a first offense or repeated violation?
- Impact: Did it affect other users or Platform integrity?
- Cooperation: Did the user cooperate with the investigation?
- History: Does the user have prior violations or warnings?
- Remorse: Has the user acknowledged the violation and shown genuine remorse?
6.5 No Refunds or Compensation
Since Kaveramma is a 100% free platform with no monetary transactions, there are no refunds or financial compensation issues. However, users who are suspended or banned:
- Forfeit all points, rankings, and leaderboard positions
- Lose access to all teams and gameplay history
- Are not entitled to any compensation or reinstatement of data
6.6 Permanent Bans
Permanent bans are final and irreversible (except through the appeals process in Section 7). Users with permanent bans:
- Cannot create new accounts using any email address or personal information
- May have their IP addresses and devices blocked
- Will be detected and re-banned if they attempt to circumvent the ban
- May face legal action if they continue to violate the ban
We recognize that mistakes can happen and that users deserve the opportunity to contest enforcement decisions. We provide a fair and transparent appeals process.
7.1 Eligibility to Appeal
You may appeal if:
- You believe the violation determination was incorrect
- You have new evidence that was not available during the initial investigation
- You believe the penalty is disproportionate to the violation
- You can demonstrate that the violation was unintentional or due to extraordinary circumstances
7.2 How to Submit an Appeal
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Fair Play Appeal - [Your Account Email]"
- Include the following information:
- Your registered email address
- Date you received the violation notification
- Detailed explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect
- Any new evidence or information supporting your appeal
- Specific outcome you are requesting (warning instead of suspension, reduced penalty, etc.)
- Submit your appeal within 14 days of receiving the violation notification
7.3 Appeals Review Process
- Independent Review: Appeals are reviewed by a different team member than the original investigator
- Fresh Analysis: The reviewer examines all evidence with fresh eyes, including any new information you provide
- Thorough Consideration: We carefully consider your explanation and circumstances
- Timeline: Appeals are typically reviewed within 7-14 business days
7.4 Possible Appeal Outcomes
- Appeal Granted (Full): Violation determination overturned; account reinstated with no penalty; all points and rankings restored
- Appeal Granted (Partial): Violation confirmed but penalty reduced (e.g., permanent ban reduced to temporary suspension)
- Appeal Denied: Original decision upheld; penalty remains in effect
7.5 Appeal Decision Notification
You will receive an email notification containing:
- The appeal decision (granted, partially granted, or denied)
- Explanation of the reasoning behind the decision
- Any changes to the original penalty (if applicable)
- Confirmation that the decision is final
7.6 Finality of Appeals
Important: The appeals decision is final and not subject to further appeal. We do not accept second appeals or repeated appeals for the same violation. Once an appeal decision is made, it cannot be reconsidered except in extraordinary circumstances (e.g., discovery of significant new evidence that could not have been available earlier).
7.7 Account Status During Appeal
- Temporary Suspensions: Suspension remains in effect during the appeal process
- Permanent Bans: Ban remains in effect during the appeal process
- If your appeal is granted, any time served during the appeal will count toward the penalty (if penalty is reduced but not eliminated)
7.8 What Does NOT Qualify for Appeal
- Disagreement with the Fair Play Policy itself (appeals address application of policy, not the policy itself)
- Claims that "everyone else is doing it" or that the violation is common
- Arguments that the penalty is unfair without addressing the underlying violation
- Requests for leniency based solely on account history or time invested (without addressing the violation)
Fair play is not just a user responsibility—it's a Platform commitment. We pledge to maintain a fair, transparent, and trustworthy environment.
