This Fair Play Policy ("Policy") is established by Kaveramma, operated by KAVERAMMA COFFEE CURING WORKS PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN: U10792KA2024PTC186508), to ensure that all users compete on a level playing field based on skill, knowledge, and strategic thinking—not through cheating, manipulation, or unfair advantages.

The integrity of fantasy sports depends on fair competition. When users engage in prohibited activities, they undermine the experience for everyone, devalue legitimate achievements, and violate the trust that makes competitive gaming meaningful.

Our Fair Play Commitments

• Equal Opportunity: All users have equal access to information, features, and opportunities to succeed
• Skill-Based Competition: Success is determined by cricket knowledge, strategic decisions, and analytical skills—not luck, manipulation, or cheating

Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to all users of the Kaveramma platform, including:

• Registered users with active accounts
• Suspended or terminated users (for ongoing investigations)
• Any individual who interacts with the Platform in any capacity

This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Fair Play Policy. Violations may result in consequences as described in Section 6.

The following activities are strictly prohibited and constitute violations of this Fair Play Policy. This list is comprehensive but not exhaustive—any activity that undermines fair competition or violates the spirit of fair play is prohibited.

2.1 Multiple Accounts and Identity Violations

• Creating Multiple Accounts: Registering more than one account for yourself using different email addresses, names, or personal information
• Account Sharing: Allowing another person to use your account or using another person's account
• Account Trading/Selling: Transferring, selling, gifting, or renting your account to another individual
• False Identity: Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent personal information during registration or at any time
• Impersonation: Pretending to be another user, Platform staff, or any other individual or entity

Why This Matters: Multiple accounts allow users to gain unfair advantages, manipulate leaderboards, test different strategies without risk, and undermine the integrity of competition. Each person is permitted exactly ONE account.

2.2 Cheating and Unfair Advantages

• Using Insider Information: Exploiting non-public information about team lineups, player injuries, pitch conditions, or match details obtained through unauthorized sources
• Automated Tools/Bots: Using scripts, bots, automated tools, or any software to create teams, enter contests, or interact with the Platform
• Exploiting Bugs: Deliberately exploiting software bugs, glitches, vulnerabilities, or errors to gain unfair advantages
• Data Scraping: Using automated tools to extract cricket data, user information, or Platform content
• Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Platform
• Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access restricted areas, other users' accounts, or backend systems

Why This Matters: Fair competition requires that all users have equal access to information and rely on their own skill and judgment. Cheating destroys the competitive balance and devalues legitimate achievements.

2.3 Collusion and Coordination

• Team Coordination: Coordinating with other users to create complementary teams designed to maximize collective rankings rather than individual performance
• Information Sharing Rings: Forming groups to share insider information, leaked lineups, or non-public data
• Strategic Collusion: Agreeing with other users to select certain players, avoid certain players, or manipulate contest outcomes
• Syndicate Operations: Operating as part of an organized group that pools resources, shares accounts, or coordinates strategies

Why This Matters: Fantasy sports is an individual competition based on personal skill and judgment. Collusion creates unfair advantages for coordinated groups over individual players.

2.4 Team Copying and Plagiarism

• Direct Team Copying: Copying another user's exact team composition without independent analysis
• Systematic Replication: Consistently replicating teams from external sources (YouTube, social media, expert predictions) without adding your own analysis
• Paid Team Services: Purchasing team recommendations or "guaranteed winning teams" from third parties

Important Clarification: It's natural for skilled players to select similar players based on form, conditions, and logic. Having some overlap with other teams is expected and acceptable. What's prohibited is deliberately copying entire teams without independent thought or analysis.

2.5 Manipulation and Abuse

• Leaderboard Manipulation: Attempting to manipulate leaderboard rankings through any means other than legitimate gameplay
• System Abuse: Abusing Platform features, bugs, or design flaws for personal gain
• Spam and Disruption: Sending spam, creating excessive accounts, or disrupting Platform operations
• False Reporting: Making false or malicious reports against other users

2.6 Harassment and Misconduct

• Harassment: Harassing, threatening, bullying, or intimidating other users
• Hate Speech: Using offensive, discriminatory, or hateful language based on race, religion, gender, nationality, or any other characteristic
• Abusive Behavior: Engaging in any form of abusive, toxic, or unsportsmanlike conduct

2.7 Legal and Regulatory Violations

• Age Fraud: Providing false date of birth to circumvent the 18+ age requirement
• Location Fraud: Providing false state information or using VPNs/proxies to circumvent geographic restrictions
• Illegal Activities: Using the Platform for any illegal purpose or to facilitate illegal activities

• Simple Cases: 3-5 business days (e.g., clear multiple account violations)
• Complex Cases: 7-14 business days (e.g., collusion investigations requiring analysis of multiple accounts)
• Exceptional Cases: Up to 30 days (e.g., sophisticated cheating schemes requiring extensive analysis)

4.7 Confidentiality

All investigations are conducted confidentially. We do not publicly disclose:

• The identity of users under investigation
• Specific detection methods or evidence
• Details of ongoing investigations

However, we may publish aggregated statistics about violations and enforcement actions to promote transparency.

Fair play is a shared responsibility. All users are expected to contribute to a fair, respectful, and competitive environment.

5.1 Your Obligations

• Play Fair: Compete based on your own skill, knowledge, and judgment
• Follow the Rules: Comply with this Fair Play Policy, Terms of Service, and all Platform policies
• Maintain One Account: Create and use only one account per person
• Protect Your Account: Keep your login credentials secure and never share your account
• Be Honest: Provide accurate information and never misrepresent your identity, age, or location
• Respect Others: Treat other users with respect, courtesy, and sportsmanship
• Report Violations: Report suspected violations to help maintain Platform integrity
• Accept Outcomes: Accept contest results gracefully, whether you win or lose

5.2 Sportsmanship and Conduct

We expect all users to demonstrate good sportsmanship:

• Congratulate winners and learn from top performers
• Provide constructive feedback and help new users learn
• Engage in respectful discussions about strategy and cricket
• Avoid gloating, taunting, or putting down other users
• Accept that fantasy sports involves unpredictability and that even the best teams can underperform

5.3 Reporting Violations

If you suspect another user is violating this Fair Play Policy, please report it:

• Provide the suspected user's name or account details
• Describe the suspected violation with as much detail as possible
• Include any evidence or screenshots (if available)

All reports are taken seriously and investigated promptly. Reporter identity is kept confidential. False or malicious reports are themselves a violation and may result in consequences.

5.4 What to Avoid

• Don't look for loopholes or ways to "game the system"
• Don't share your account credentials with friends or family
• Don't create multiple accounts "just to try different strategies"
• Don't copy teams from social media or YouTube without independent analysis
• Don't coordinate with other users to manipulate rankings
• Don't exploit bugs or errors—report them instead

Violations of this Fair Play Policy result in consequences proportionate to the severity, frequency, and impact of the violation. Our enforcement approach balances fairness with the need to maintain Platform integrity.

• Frequency: Is this a first offense or repeated violation?
• Impact: Did it affect other users or Platform integrity?
• Cooperation: Did the user cooperate with the investigation?
• History: Does the user have prior violations or warnings?
• Remorse: Has the user acknowledged the violation and shown genuine remorse?

6.5 No Refunds or Compensation

Since Kaveramma is a 100% free platform with no monetary transactions, there are no refunds or financial compensation issues. However, users who are suspended or banned:

• Forfeit all points, rankings, and leaderboard positions
• Lose access to all teams and gameplay history
• Are not entitled to any compensation or reinstatement of data

6.6 Permanent Bans

Permanent bans are final and irreversible (except through the appeals process in Section 7). Users with permanent bans:

• Cannot create new accounts using any email address or personal information
• May have their IP addresses and devices blocked
• Will be detected and re-banned if they attempt to circumvent the ban
• May face legal action if they continue to violate the ban

We recognize that mistakes can happen and that users deserve the opportunity to contest enforcement decisions. We provide a fair and transparent appeals process.

7.1 Eligibility to Appeal

You may appeal if:

• You believe the violation determination was incorrect
• You have new evidence that was not available during the initial investigation
• You believe the penalty is disproportionate to the violation
• You can demonstrate that the violation was unintentional or due to extraordinary circumstances

7.2 How to Submit an Appeal

• Appeal Denied: Original decision upheld; penalty remains in effect

7.5 Appeal Decision Notification

You will receive an email notification containing:

• The appeal decision (granted, partially granted, or denied)
• Explanation of the reasoning behind the decision
• Any changes to the original penalty (if applicable)
• Confirmation that the decision is final

7.6 Finality of Appeals

Important: The appeals decision is final and not subject to further appeal. We do not accept second appeals or repeated appeals for the same violation. Once an appeal decision is made, it cannot be reconsidered except in extraordinary circumstances (e.g., discovery of significant new evidence that could not have been available earlier).

7.7 Account Status During Appeal

• Temporary Suspensions: Suspension remains in effect during the appeal process
• Permanent Bans: Ban remains in effect during the appeal process

• Claims that "everyone else is doing it" or that the violation is common

• Requests for leniency based solely on account history or time invested (without addressing the violation)
